5th Gen 4Runner Grille Lights: Options for 2010–2024

5th Gen 4Runner Grille Lights: Options for 2010–2024

Grille lights are one of the easiest front-end upgrades on a 5th gen 4Runner. The 5th gen (2010–2024) takes insert-style light kits that mount in the factory grille. This guide walks through the two 5th-gen options we sell, and how to tell which one fits your truck.

5th Gen (2010–2024): 1. 4Runner Grille Lights — $59.99

Our marker-light kit for the 5th gen. Choose a set of 3 or 4 lights, and the kit includes a full wiring harness and an Add-a-Fuse, so you can tap power cleanly. Fitment is specific: it is designed for 2010–2024 4Runners, it fits 2010–2021 and 2023–2024 models, and it does not fit OEM 2022 grilles. Check your year before you order — especially if you drive a 2022.

5th Gen (2010–2024): 2. 4 Light LED Raptor Lights (2014–2024) — $34.99

A set of four LED raptor-style marker lights made for TRD Pro–style grilles on 2014–2024 4Runners, for $34.99. This is a different product from the kit above, with a different fitment, so don't blend the two: the 4Runner Grille Lights kit fits the broader 2010–2024 range (except OEM 2022 grilles) and includes the harness and Add-a-Fuse, while this 4-light set is the one built specifically for 2014–2024 trucks wearing TRD Pro–style grilles.

Fitment: check your grille before you order

This is the #1 mistake with grille lighting: kits are built for specific generations and grille types, so it comes down to the facts. The 4Runner Grille Lights kit is 2010–2024, but it does not fit OEM 2022 grilles. The Raptor light set is 2014–2024, intended for TRD Pro–style grilles. If your 4Runner is not on a kit's fitment list, don't force the install.

How hard is the install?

Marker lights are the easy win: mount the lights in the grille and connect the wiring — the 4Runner Grille Lights kit includes its harness and Add-a-Fuse for a clean power tap.

Are grille light bars street legal?

Amber marker lights are fine — they read as marker/DRL lighting. LED light bars are a different story: in many places they're for off-road use, or must be covered or switched off on public roads. Check your local rules either way.

FAQ

Which grille light option should I start with?

Match the kit to your rig. 5th gen? The 4Runner Grille Lights kit ($59.99). 5th gen with a TRD Pro–style grille? The 4 Light LED Raptor Lights set ($34.99).

Will these grille lights fit my 4Runner?

Only if your year and grille match the kit. The 4Runner Grille Lights kit fits 2010–2021 and 2023–2024 models (not OEM 2022 grilles). The 4 Light LED Raptor Lights set fits 2014–2024 trucks with TRD Pro–style grilles.

Do I have to cut or drill anything?

No. The marker kits are made to fit their specific grilles — the 4Runner Grille Lights kit includes a full wiring harness and an Add-a-Fuse.

What's the difference between marker lights and a light bar?

Marker lights (raptor lights) are small amber lights for style and visibility to other drivers — they don't light up the trail. A light bar is high-output driving light for off-road use. They solve different problems, and many people run marker lights first.
