Aspire Fang Lights: A Clean Lighting Upgrade for the 5th Gen 4Runner
The factory fog light area on the 5th Gen 4Runner leaves plenty of room for something a little more interesting, and Aspire's LED Fang Lights are a pretty clean way to change it up.
Designed for 2014–2024 4Runners, the kit replaces the factory fog light bezels with new bezels featuring integrated LEDs that follow the outside of the fog light opening. It's noticeable without requiring a major front-end change, and there are several setups depending on how you want the finished truck to look.
Four Lighting Options
Aspire offers the fang lights in Switchback, White DRL, Amber DRL, and RGB.
Switchback runs white for the DRL and changes to amber with the turn signal. This gives you the white LED look during normal driving without losing the amber turn signal.
White DRL keeps things simple with white accent lighting.
Amber DRL runs amber lighting and an amber turn signal—a good match for 4Runners already running amber fogs, grille lights, or other amber lighting.
RGB adds the ability to change colors with the included remote. This version uses a ground and add-a-fuse connection rather than the same setup as the standard versions.

Compatible trims include SR5, Trail Special Edition, Venture, TRD Pro, Trail, and TRD Off-Road.
They do not fit Limited or Nightshade models.
Plug-and-Play Wiring
Aspire uses plug-and-play connections for the standard fang light setups, so there's no need to cut or tap into the factory turn signal wiring.
That's a big plus for an upgrade like this. You get a pretty dramatic change to the front of the truck without turning it into a complicated electrical project.
The RGB version is the exception and requires a ground and add-a-fuse connection.
A Small Mod That Changes the Front End
There's no shortage of lighting options for the 5th Gen, but not every build needs another light bar or set of pods.
Fang lights are more about changing the appearance of the factory front end while adding functional accent lighting. They work especially well alongside upgraded headlights or fog lights, but they're noticeable enough to make a difference on an otherwise mostly stock front end too.
